CFI Academy was founded in April 1998 and has been in the business of teaching new Flight Instructors since. We are imitated often but never outperformed. Here are a few facts that help us maintain the lead.

Our Experience

Since 1998 we have been dedicated to training the best Flight Instructors in the industry. Our instructor staff is not your typical “paying their dues on the way to airline” type. Our chief instructor has been teaching the CFI classes for almost 25 years now.

Our Performance

In a typical month, our instructors train and recommend about 20-25 checkride applicants for CFI, CFII, MEI, Multi-Engine, Commercial, and Seaplane courses. We maintain an overall first-attempt pass rate of over 90%. Even if there is a retest involved, we still get most of the applicants done within the projected timeframe.

Our Relationships

We maintain excellent relationships with our training partners. Dedicated DPEs help with consistent checkride scheduling availability, and minimize the delays in training completion. Aircraft mechanics help keep the training fleet up and running 7 days a week.
